HHS Releases Final Rule on Medical Loss Ratio Requirements

The Department of Health and Human Services has released the final rule on Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) Requirements under the Affordable Care Act.

These final rules address comments to the interim final rule regarding how insurers calculate MLRs for individual and small group health plans, and how rebates are distributed to policyholders and consumers.
